My name is Akos Ethan Straub, and I am the founder of The Group | RE at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. I grew up in the Gold Coast neighborhood of downtown Chicago, and I love this city. I am licensed in Illinois and Florida and I split my time as needed. Real estate is my true passion and for over 17 years I have built lasting relationships with many happy and satisfied clients. Our group is a diversified Chicago real estate corporation with sales consulting, luxury marketing, leasing and new construction and development divisions. We specialize in the sales of unique properties, condominiums, new development projects, and single-family luxury homes in Chicago.

I do various speaking engagements for numerous audiences each year. I was recognized as one of six Real Estate Visionaries by CS Magazine, selected as one of the "Top 40 under 40" in Chicago, and was also recognized as a Top Achiever and recipient of the Top 5 Producers Award. I was featured in an article in Realtor Magazine titled: Secrets to Today's Investment Market and 10 Pitfalls to Avoid. I have served on multiple boards and committees for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Chicago Association of Realtors, Advisory Board for Loyola University, St Joseph College. Each year, I help raise thousands of dollars for the Sunshine Kids charity, committed to providing positive group activities and emotional support for children with cancer.
